A Night in the Clink is set in the Clink restaurant at HMP Cardiff. Three men, who are coming to the end of their prison sentence, cook and serve the audience their supper whilst sharing their stories and the dreams they have for their lives upon release.
The stories emerged from a year long series of workshops with the Clink Team at Cardiff and with people serving sentences at HMP Prescoed and Cardiff. The production is conceived and directed by Bridget Keehan and written by Matthew Bulgo, Branwen Davies and Tracy Harris. It is produced in partnership with the Sherman Theatre and the Clink Restaurant at HMP Cardiff.
